The amount that you withhold depends on the number of hours worked each week, the employee's salary, the employees tax credits and whether or not they have a PPS number or are already registered with the Revenue Commissioners in Ireland.

Payroll tax is due for most employers on the 19th of the following month. It is calculated based on the total wages paid during the previous month
